Kurnai College strives for a safe environment for the school community as part of our goal to ensure a positive, nurturing, learning environment. Kurnai College has implemented a positive behaviour support (PBS) framework to foster both academic and behavioural support for all students.
The purpose of PBS is to establish a school climate in which appropriate behaviour is the norm for all students. PBS is about teaching students appropriate behaviours, rewarding students doing the right thing and helping them value good behaviour through self-discipline and right choices. Together, the home, the school and the community share the responsibility for developing good citizens.
